Our directorate is responsible for integration, test and validation activities for Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) Programs. Our team of talented engineers collaborates across disciplines from initial concepts to product sell off, integrates complex technology, debugs and resolves interface issues, evaluates system performance, and demonstrates and sells off state-of-the-art products for areas including radars, command and control platforms, missile systems, and cyber defense. The Strategic Growth Programs (SGP) Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) programs provide upgrades to a system of radars that protect the air space. Upcoming activities involve domestic test events.

The System Integration &Test Technical Lead for the SGP UEWR programs will be responsible for:
  • Leading the technical SI&T activities on multiple SGP UEWR programs, including preparation, technical on-site execution, and any required follow up activities
  • Identifying technical staffing needs to support integration events to Program Office
  • Identifying technical risks and opportunities (R&Os) to leadership for SI&T scope
  • Generating SI&T documentation to meet Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables
  • Reviewing system technical requirements.
  • Supporting junior engineers in completing their tasks
  • Providing technical SI&T input on upcoming proposals to Program Office
  • Communicating concepts and plans related to SI&T with the customer.
  • Answering technical questions from the customer.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 6 years of Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification & Validation experience
  • Experience leading a technical team on Integration & Verification Events
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to interface with customers and senior management
  • Ability to travel for extended lengths
  • Experience with Matlab and Linux.
  • This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Early Warning Radars at a system
  • Experience with Hardware and Software Early Warning Radar Systems
  • Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and the EAC process
  • Certification as a Six Sigma Specialist
  • Familiarity with IPDS, internal reviews and Gate Reviews
  • Expertise in System Integration, Verification or Validation
  • Experience with supporting both technical and cost proposal efforts
  • Masters Degree in Engineering discipline

    Required Education:
    Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related engineering disciplines.

  • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
