Job Description

Process engineers in the Architecture and Technology Scaling (ATS) group are expected to understand the supplier landscape, develop and execute to process and equipment config. roadmaps to meet 3D NAND BU's long-term technology and cost requirements. ATS group meets early phase development objectives through strategic programs set up with suppliers, recommends appropriate technology and supports the transfer of technology to TD in Dalian fab in China.

The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. Solidigm is a leading global supplier of NAND flash memory solutions, led by Robert (Rob) B. Crooke as CEO, previously senior vice president and general manager of Intels Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Masters in an Engineering or Science field.
7+ years of experience in the following areas: Developing process or productivity solutions on dry etch equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the following areas:
-Aspect Ratio etches.
-Concept and feasibility experimentation.

-Customer or vendor management.
-Computational expertise is a plus.
-Memory or storage process technology experience is a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,190.00-$221,610.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
