Job Summary:

The StormBreaker program is seeking a Growth and Integration Program Manager. This position will report to the Program Director and will be part of the senior program leadership team. The Growth and Integration Program Manager is responsible for program leadership and direct execution of all StormBreaker platform integration and flight test programs, system improvement programs and strategic growth activities. This includes leading and management of proposals for future platform integration and collaborating with business development in establishing strategy for Foreign Military Sales. Primary responsibility will be the execution of the integration of the StormBreaker weapon on the F/A-18-E/F and F-35 platforms, which are key enablers for Foreign Military Sales. This position will also be responsible for growing weapon systems markets through developing and executing weapon software performance roadmap activities and expansion to additional platforms including F-16, UAVs and emerging aircraft. Additionally, the Growth and Integration program manager will be accountable for ensuring that the program wins key pursuits and achieves its bookings and growth targets.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Leverage strong integration background and leadership of technical teams to achieve full integration of the StormBreaker smart weapon onto the F-35A/B/C, the F/A-18E/F, and future US and FMS manned and unmanned platforms
  • Collaborate with Navy counterparts within the USAF lead SPO to hold Navy objectives for IOCs targets
  • Implement strong program management and execution discipline within the team of matrixed program managers and IPTLs
  • Mentor and develop program managers to ensure continuity in leadership
  • Establish strong working relationship with USG counterparts at the SPO, which include the Aircraft Integration Team, the Test Team, and the International Team
  • Establish strong working relationships with platform OEMs to create aligned efforts on future platform integration activities
  • Accelerate global growth by enhancing customer relationships, advancing international business partnerships, and influencing release policy
  • Monitor and support the IPDS Gate Review process for domestic and international programs
  • Coordinate with the Production Program Manager and Program Operations Manager to coordinate and prioritize off-nominal production line activities required for integration efforts
  • Host or travel to support customer meetings
  • Coordinate internally and externally to evolve the Program Growth Roadmap
  • Collaborate with customers and Raytheon Technologies leaders for concurrence on vision, goals, requirements, opportunities, and roadmap
  • This position can be located at any RMD facility and requires some domestic travel

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree (Engineering, Business, Science, Mathematics, or related field)
  • 12 years of experience to include managing development programs that have transitioned to production
  • Experience in program execution, integration, and strategic planning
  • Experience interfacing with customers and industry partners
  • Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Estimate at Completes (EACs), Risk & Opportunity, and/or IMP/IMS
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

  • Proven team builder with demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and people/interpersonal skills
  • Experience in international business capture including familiarity with Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales
  • Excellent record of progressively more responsible leadership roles
  • Excellent communication skills with customer and senior executives
  • Experience interfacing with the DoD customer base and a solid understanding of the DoD requirements process and budgeting cycle
  • Working knowledge of business development, Congressional processes and policies governing of import/export of hardware and technical data
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate relationships and influence customer requirements
