Intel's
Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) seeks a
Strategic Product Planner for Intel's Field Programmable Gate Array
(FPGA) Silicon Products. Intel PSG is experiencing unprecedented
growth with innovation of new applications and features for both
traditional and new markets. The person in this role will be an
integral contributor to the growth and scale of
PSG.
Strategic Hardware Planner position focuses on partnering and influencing strategic deliverables throughout the organization.
The Strategic Hardware
Planner is a critical, role within PSG's Product Planning
organization and puts you at the center of PSG products. This role
affords you a great opportunity to make a disruptive and positive
impact to PSG's near and long-term business goals. You will take on
challenging and complex problems where you will need to apply sound
technical and business judgment in defining solutions and
effectively communicating complex issues to audiences that may
include senior executives, Marketing, Engineering, Sales and
Customers.
As Strategic Hardware Planner you
will be responsible for coordinating with Engineering, business,
and Marketing stakeholders to jointly define, drive and manage
PSG's FPGA architecture product strategy. You will be driving the
requirements from vertical markets into specifications for PSG
products. This will involve synthesizing and analyzing requirements
from various sources including but not limited to PSG's strategy
and marketing teams, Intel business divisions and other Intel
business units, customers
etc.
Key Responsibilities
Drives creation of Market Requirements Documents based on inputs from customers and PSG business partners.
Orchestrates architecture performance/benchmarking ensuring effective measures and methodologies are in place.
Partner with engineering to define a market leading architecture and build expert knowledge of PSG's and competition's FPGA architectures.
Works closely with other Strategic Planners to manage, track and oversee deliverables from cross functional teams - towards contributing to a product proposal.
Networks and coordinates with business stakeholders to continuously drive and champion customer requirements into product proposals.
Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on which to pursue.
Manage complex feature, schedule, cost, and performance tradeoffs.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer
Science, or related
field.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience with embedded hardware and software processors (e.g., design, implementation, application support etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of total preferred experience should include:
Customer-facing and engagement role
Strategic Planning, Architecture definition and/or Design Engineering
Technical business role (e.g., roles working with markets/applications)
FPGA experience (e.g., design, implementation, etc.)

Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$113,210.00-$187,350.00
