Job Description

Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Works closely with product development to create products and validates product definitions with external customers and sales. Uses technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate product strategies and identify new product opportunities. Responsible for developing project plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share.
Intel Foundry Services(IFS) is looking for up to 4 talented, highly motivated candidates to join its Military, Aerospace and Government(MAG) group. As a Strategic Marketing Manager, you will define Intel IFS strategy in MAG electronics(Postition1.)Radar and E/W, Position 2.) High performance Compute, Position 3) Avionics Sector, Position 4) Secure Comms as well as define our strategy with Government and DIB customers. These positions require reading and executing requests for proposals (RFQs) utilizing the experience of several members of the MAG team. This position also requires working closely with Engineering, Product Marketing and Sales to establish and execute on the strategy to grow Intel ASIC adoption in MAG applications.

This role requires a strong system level understanding of current MAG architectures. It also involves working closely with thought leaders to determine how these architectures will evolve in the marketplace. The Strategic Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining what roadmap and solutions and IP IFS needs to develop and to be a key player in MAG systems market.

Key responsibilities may include: Understanding and influencing strategic customer's vision architecture to align and deliver the value of Intel ASICs and Card Solutions to their business need, TAM/SAM analysis, market segmentation, competitive analysis, establishing and nourishing key partners, influencing software and hardware roadmaps, setting direction for system solutions engineering teams, evangelizing solutions and products, collaborating across divisions to align on architecture and strategy, sales enablement and the development and execution of Go-To-Market (GTM) plans.

The role requires domestic business travel to customers, partners, other Intel sites and trade shows.


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 9 years of experience or a Master degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Experience should be in relevant sectors in Rader and E/W, High performance Compute, Avionics Sector, Machine learning
  • Blend of technical and business acumen in these segments would be ideal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience, or knowledge, in deep learning, machine learning, machine vision and analytics, software workflow or similar.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
