Packaging Technology Development (SPTD) organization. Our mission

Specifically the
SPTD Functional Area Manufacturing Enabling team is looking for a
highly motivated individual to support capacity planning, modeling,
and assessments for the Chandler, Arizona factory.
Primary
responsibilities
include:
-
Maintenance and optimization of capacity simulation, labor, and
media models.
- Forecasting
equipment availability, utilization, and labor requirements based
on a demand signal and application of capacity simulation
models.
- Partnering with key
stakeholders to identify and solve complex problems in factory
performance, loading, equipment performance, and decision science.
- Developing solutions to
capacity and factory performance problems utilizing formal
technical training, business knowledge, and
judgement.
- Developing and
presenting capacity modeling assessments and constraint mitigation
strategies to peers and partner
groups.
- Staying abreast of
technology changes and comprehending implications to how we model
the manufacturing
process.
This role will
also provide opportunities to develop and apply mathematical
models, simulation and optimization models to drive solutions to
manufacturing
issues.
This job role
requires demonstrated organization, prioritization, planning, time
management skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, strong
teamwork and partnering
skills.
This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Knowledge and/or
experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of
your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant
previous job and/or internship experiences .
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree of Science in
Industrial Engineering or related Engineering field with 3+
months experience or Masters degree with 6+ months of
Science in Industrial Engineering or related Engineering
discipline.
Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by 07/2022.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years experience in the
below:
- Capacity planning and modeling.
- Data collection, organization,
statistical design, analysis and manipulation skillset.
- Data Science affiliated course work and/or direct
experience.
- Parametric mathematical modeling and
stochastic modeling (discrete event, Monte Carlo
simulation).

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
