The
Substrate Packaging Technology Development
(SPTD) Factory
Infrastructure and Business Operations Group is looking for a
highly driven and disciplined Facilities Planning and Design group
leader to manage the SPTD Facilities Planning and Design team.
As the Facilities
Planning and Design Group Leader, you will be responsible for but
not limited to:
- Develop and
lead a systematic and transparent Facilities Planning and Design
process and Tool Utility Modeling, in support of ATTD/SPTD
technology roadmap.
- Partner
with Corporate Services (CS), Fab Construction Enterprise (FCE),
EHS, and SPTD Module Engineering to define facilities design
requirements and select FOK (First of a kind) facilities conceptual
designs in support of SPTD FOK tools and technology Model of
records (MORs)
- Deliver Factory
facilities capital roadmap, optimized design solutions, and
contingency plans, in support of SPTD Pathfinding and Technology
Development programs.
- Manage,
and track the FOK tools utility models for accuracy and supporting
the Facilities and Tool Install projects, while partnering with
GSC, module engineering, and Equipment suppliers.
- Collaborate and partner with
FCE on forecasting Base build and progressive build projects
capital forecasts, CPAs, and funding releases in support of SPTD
roadmap schedules.
- Maintain
and drive efficiency improvements to the Facilities Planning/Design
and Tool Utility Models business
processes.
- Help the Factory
Infrastructure and Business Operations Manager in chairing the DRTF
(Design Review Task Force) and SFCCB (Substrate Facilities Change
Control Board) in collaboration with CS and FCE.
- This is a new group, the group
leader will be responsible for hiring, training, managing, and
developing a group of engineers and project managers to execute
above items.

Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
-Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years of experience or MS degree with 6+ years of experience or PhD degree with 4+ years of experience in Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
- 6+ years of semiconductor.
- 2+
years of experience either as a people manager or as formal leader
of team(s) with five or more people responsible for technical
deliverables.
Preferred
Qualifications:
2+ years of
experience as an facilities design manager, tool install design
manager, process equipment engineer or group leader in a
semiconductor
fab.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
