This position is a Substrate Technology Integration role within Substrate Packaging Technology Development (SPTD) and the candidate will be responsible for substrate technology development, certification and high volume ramp for next-gen Intel products.

The candidate will be expected to:

- Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams and external substrate suppliers to deliver robust substrate technologies including architecture, materials, and processes to program and product technical and schedule requirements.
- Utilize substrate technology development methodologies to drive process window characterization and continuous improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, and process capability and/or stability across substrate suppliers.
- Ramp and timely transfer substrate technology to ATM factories and HVM team, and drive the resolution of substrate assembly/quality transparency issues and technology improvements at the substrate suppliers.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional and cross-organizational teams or task forces that support substrate technology development and ramp activities.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidate must possess a MS degree (with 3+ yrs experience) or PhD degree (with 1+ yrs experience) in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degree.

-2+ years of experience in the following:
Substrate/assembly/fab manufacturing process technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in the following:

-Knowledge of substrate manufacturing, flip chip assembly process, and reliability testing.

-Overall program management from conceptual phase to HVM.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
