As the Supply Chain Engineer for Capital Equipment, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Exploring and benchmarking emerging technologies in the industry.
Contributing to future technology definitions and requirements.
Defining the technical requirements for supplier selection.
Working together with suppliers to define the raw materials and overall materials manufacturing process flow to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield, and manufacturability requirements.
Driving supplier improvements on quality, reliability, yield, and cost.
Developing plans and strategies to validate critical process windows with the supplier.
Driving supplier process window validation activities on critical process modules throughout the stages of development.
Developing strategies to resolve a wide range of difficult and complex problems using formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
Establishing a master Gantt chart and performing regular reviews on project progress.
Providing technical support during material transfers for factory start-ups.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. *This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:
A Bachelor's Degree in the above fields with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Master's degree in engineering or technical discipline with 4+ years of experience in technology and manufacturing.
Ph.D. degree in engineering or technical discipline with 2+ years of experience in technology and manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Intel factory operations or support group work experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of semiconductor materials characterization techniques.
Understanding of engineering statistics used for metrology tool certification and statistical process control.
Material failure analysis techniques.
Project management skillset.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
