Job Description
This Director role is responsible for the IT Supply Planning global delivery organization, working closely with leadership of the Corporate Planning Group (CPG) and Manufacturing and Supply Chain Organization (MSO) to enable Intel's long-term vision and success for planning and executing the internal and external supply network. This position reports to the VP of Supply Chain IT and is expected to lead direct worldwide definition and delivery teams supporting business functions for integrated supply planning from Sales and Operations Execution (S and OE), Mater Scheduling and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP).

This role is responsible for the for the entire delivery lifecycle, including identifying business needs, managing portfolio prioritization, solution design and delivery. The ideal candidate will bring supply chain subject matter expertise, industry best known methods, significant IT solution delivery experience, influencing and negotiating skills and a demonstrated track record of delivering high-value business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Supply Planning IT vision, strategy, and full execution
  • Support Supply Planning business process definition and re-engineering, strategy, and execution across large complex programs while supporting target architecture roadmaps
  • Quickly build and maintain a trusted relationship with business partners to understand challenges and needs for a One IT approach.
  • Work closely with business partners to analyze and formulate the scope/objectives of the system, design and deliver capabilities to run efficient industry-standard business processes.
  • Support a multi-year tool and technology roadmap, anticipating needs capability requirements
  • Identify metrics to ensure we are delivering innovative, high value, efficient IT services and solutions with best-in-class delivery.
  • Manage the transition of design to execution, including the governance and user adoption required to achieve the desired business outcomes and value.
  • Ensure high quality delivery methodology, leveraging SAFE, Agile and Scrum principals
  • Ensure the security of our IT assets as well as proprietary, sensitive information from external as well as internal attacks.
  • Managing hiring and development of world-class talent, fostering a strong One Intel team environment

In addition, the Director will work closely with the platforms and enterprise architecture team to understand long term strategic changes, full application lifecycle management, plans for landscape simplification, and maintain a long-term skills plan to ensure continued skill growth to meet future needs.


Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT leadership in applications or solution delivery with strong track record of superior delivery results.
  • 5+ years relevant domain experience in sourcing/procurement
  • Education: BS or equivalent in a related computer science or engineering or related field. Advanced degree a plus; relevant Industry certifications a plus.
  • Deep functional expertise of supply chain and Supply Planning business processes, creating strategy and technical expertise of process and systems that support corporate strategic direction. Process knowledge to include Long Range Planning (LRP), Sales and Operations Planning (S and OP), and Sales and Execution Planning (S and OE).
  • Experience and deploying solutions using SAP ECC/S4, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, SAP Ariba, E2Open or similar software platforms.
  • Proven track record of collaboration across multiple IT organizations, business partners and stakeholders; ability to operate in an ambiguous environment, ability to think beyond the current boundaries, question the status quo structure/functions and recommend and effect changes.
  • Established record of success building high-performance teams, developing leaders and driving necessary organizational change.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT from business, technology and operational perspectives, knowledgeable of ITIL, Six Sigma, Waterfall and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experienced at management communication and presentation skills, skilled at influencing relationships with internal business customers at executive and senior management levels.
  • Education- BS or equivalent in a related computer science or engineering or related field plus 10+ years relevant leadership experience. Advanced degree (MSCS or MBA, etc) a plus; relevant Industry certifications a plus.

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT leadership in applications or solution delivery
  • 5+ years relevant domain experience in sourcing/procurement
  • 5+ experience and deploying solutions using SAP, Ariba, E2open or similar software platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Supply Chain or any other related field.
  • Supply Chain experience preferably in Source to Pay processes and operations.
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
