Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Support Architect in our Newtown Square, PA location and various client locations to deliver Onsite & Remote Services for MaxAttention, Active Embedded and Mission Critical Support (Escalations & Task forces, MCS Back office) including Optimization, Assessment, Technical Integration/ Validation, Empowering trainings and workshops and Engineering Services.  Deliver guided implementation, root cause analysis of complex situations, and onsite services as functional expert for broad area of topics

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Responsible for global/regional delivery for AGS initiatives. Actively provide customer feedback to development based on delivery and assist critical and key account customers.  Assist delivery teams and assume customer project responsibilities. Responsible for internal service development projects. Deliver high-end services without tool support, and develop comprehensive service offerings and drive industrialization. Assess the impact of business changes and product innovations.  Develop necessary supportability features and support offerings.  Analyze functional gaps in ICC. Develop team expertise and take ownership for all customer deliveries.  Responsible for workstreams within One Service projects such as Project Management, Integration and Development, Test Management or User Training. Participate in architecture discussion with customer across all workstreams of the project and align the technical or application aspects with other projects in the program.  Collaborate with the Focus TQM to answers difficult functional or technical questions and execute concrete tasks.  Charged with the quality and success of the delivered tasks. Performs overall analysis of situation at key accounts.  Covers at least one of the workstreams of projects. Responsible for integration topics such as user integration, system integration and process integration.  Define technical architecture, landscape and underlying infrastructure.  Provide a detailed architecture blueprint as basis for the other work streams.  Responsible for project and production landscape, and Data Migration. Deliver technical integration validation, best practice for solutions or operation and platform related services. Develop comprehensive service offerings and concepts.  Assess the impact of technological changes and determine appropriate tactics to respond. Responsible for back office responsibilities as de-escalation architect.  50% travel required.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Information Systems, or related or a related field and 7 years of experience required. Will accept a Master's degree and 5 years of experience.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve driving the architecture discussion with customer across all workstreams of the project; aligning the technical or application aspects with other projects; working with Focus TQM groups to answers functional or technical questions, and execute defined tasks; handling critical customers; supporting key account customers; and leading delivery teams. 50% travel required.
