Intel is looking for a System Simulation Engineer; with knowledge of functional,

performance, and power/thermal platform modeling. 

• Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing.

• Responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of the software tools. You will join a team in charge of deploying system level power and thermal modelling tools and flows.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications required to be initially considered for this position:

• Master of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• Proficiency in Python.

• Solid verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with customers and engineers.

• Willing to work both independently and in an international cross-functional team environment.

• Solid work ethics.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years prior experience in system Power/Thermal simulation tools and modeling.

• Industrial experience with virtual platforms, system level performance modeling.
