Develops simulation infrastructure, simulators, and models used internally and by external customers for architecture exploration and technical readiness, presilicon development, validation, and evaluation. Includes development of software tools and collaterals to optimize Intel XPU performance, power, quality, and reliability. Develops mathematical and statistical models of Intel XPU's performance, power, quality, reliability, manufacturing, test, and/or customerusage attributes. Develops software algorithms to optimize these XPU attributes and implements these optimization solutions in userfriendly and highly efficient software that enables simulations and/or closedform calculations. Implements automated analytical methods to turn data from various sources to information required to optimize Intel XPUs.
Qualifications
Minimum
QualificationsBachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer
Science or related technical discipline.Candidate will have
either/or1+ years prior experience in system Power/Thermal
simulation tools and modelling.Industrial experience with virtual
platforms, system level performance modelling.1+ years in
developing functional models (virtual platforms) ideally using
Simics or GEM5 with strong knowledge base in system architecture
(processors, graphics, interconnects) and/or a strong knowledge
base in power management software (firmware, microcode, OS Power
management).1+ years of experience in software development with
C/C++/Python/DML language and libraries.Preferred
Qualifications:Power modeling skills are a strong plus.Requirements
listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant
job experience, internship experiences and or
schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
