Job Description

TD ATA Package and Test Automation is hiring an Operations Group Leader with a can-do attitude to lead a team responsible for providing L2 On-Shift support for Factory Automation Systems in our Chandler and Oregon TD Manufacturing Floors. This group of Engineers work a compressed work week schedule (shift4/6) to provide support for Station Controller and Shop Floor Control Applications. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive fundamental improvements in automation operations capabilities to increase manufacturing efficiency, tool availability, output, cycle time, and labor productivity. You are an ideal candidate for this position if you are a strong technical leader who enjoys working in fast paced, data-driven, and results-oriented environment, you have the ability to lead people effectively, and you have a strong desire for learning, adapting, and driving change.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide guidance to team members in the group to achieve both business and people goals/objectives successfully.
  • Establish, develop, and foster strong stakeholder, customer, and partner relationships with-in TD ATA and Manufacturing organizations.
  • Explore emerging business disruptions and ideas in the industry and identifying opportunities to influence internal product roadmaps with specific product supportability features.
  • Providing direction and guidance for the team during major outages.
  • Leading large projects and teams to support Factory objectives.
  • Making critical factory automation decisions under stressful crisis situations.
  • Define an inspiring vision for the team and develop and nurture a high performing team with focus on establishing an inclusive work environment.
  • Driving a positive Intel culture on the shift as well as across the shift/s

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelors (with 3+ years of experience), Masters (with 2+ years of experience) or a PhD (with 1+ years of experience) degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience in manufacturing or automation systems as listed below.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in People management
  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing or automation systems

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
