Job Description

Intel's Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) group is seeking an experienced software engineer to join its Core Components team. As a System Software Development Engineer, you will enhance, design, develop, and support applications integrated with hardware security modules, use industry standard cryptographic algorithms, and may design or develop zero trust and/or access-controlled networks. Your responsibilities may include working with other Intel organizations to develop encrypted data pipelines. Your deliverables may need to conform to NIST information security standards and specifications. You will be developing software using .NET/C#, Go, and/or Rust.

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD degree in Computer Science or Information Security or related discipline.

  • At least 3 years of experience in:

    • Application of cryptographic algorithms and encryption techniques.

    • Software architecture principles and design patterns.

    • Integrating systems with hardware security modules (HSMs)

    • C#/.NET system development on Windows.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Go and/or Rust software development on Linux OS.

  • Performance characterization of distributed systems.

  • Structured software troubleshooting and debugging skills.

  • Familiar with Secure DevOps.
