The System Simulation and Modeling (SSM) team is part of Intel's Software and Advanced Technology (SATG) group. We are transforming the way our product firmware and software are developed, integrated, and tested in a modern cloud computing environment. We build high-performance system simulators that serve as the product of our future. Great simulators result in leadership products by simulating our architecture and software before committing to our product execution. We are looking for strong software engineers ready to engage in large-scale software development, automation, and cloud projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Software development and automation, driving initiatives and projects from design through implementation and deployment, system debug and support
- Exercising judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches
- Assess risks and identify efficient approaches to deliver high quality solutions in timely manner

- Highly Proactive and strong stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education Requirement
Bachelors, Master's, or a Phd. in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of active experience in large-scale software development.
2+ years of experience with computer architecture and system software.
Preferred Qualifications
One or more of the following skills is highly desired:
Experience in simulation development.
Experience in RAS (reliability, availability, serviceability) system domain.
Experience in CXL (Compute Express Link) IO/Mem/Cache protocol, Telemetry, platform components like BMC(Baseboard Management Controller).
Experience in Memory Technology (DDR4, DDR5), understanding of memory discover, training, and memory reference code (MRC) is plus.
Experience in DevOps methods and tools, such as git, Jenkins, and TeamCity.
Experience or ability to understand dive into system software debug including firmware, driver, or OS.
Experience in cloud software infrastructure is beneficial, such as Docker/Singularity containers, Kubernetes, and service architectures.
Experience with modeling the large scale data center product architecture.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$97,500.00-$146,340.00
