Intel's
Technology and Manufacturing Organization is seeking a passionate
and energetic System Software Validation Engineer to help in
validation of the next generation Intel ATE Testers
The position requires
to simultaneously work on multiple projects while balancing
deadlines and priorities, in addition to communicating the progress
of current projects with the
team.
We're looking for
experienced software validation engineers with semiconductor test
program development, ATE
validation/development
hands-on experience, who are motivated to seeing their creative
solutions used to test by billions of Intel devices in the next
decade.
Responsibilities include but
are not limited
to:
-Develop test plans
with schedules including breakdown of complicated tasks into
defined and appropriately sized components for sprint-based
delivery.
-Write test methods
and user functions to test new software and hardware features on
Intel Testers.
-Analyze
software requirements and designs, and provides feedback on their
testability.
-Debug software
products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain
quality standards for company
products.
-Develop, modify, and
execute software test
plans.
-Analyze and write test
standards and
procedures.
-Maintain
documentation of test results to assist in debugging and
modification of
software.
-Analyze test results
to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures
and recommends corrective
action.
-File defects for any
failures.
-Effective communication skills.
-Willingness to learn and apply new skills.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in ATE test development, Software Validation or Software Development.
- 5+ years of software development or validation experience.
- 1+ years of experience in AgileScrum software development methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience Programming with object oriented programming - C++, C#, JAVA languages NET and Visual Studio or Other IDEs.
- Computer Architecture, Operating System, and concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience, ATE experience, Semiconductor Test Content development.
