The Product Service Engineering Team (PSE) is a part of Operations Engineering team and is responsible for assuring the next generation of Apple products can be delivered in a way that will continue to delight our customers.

Key Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practices
• Ability to triage problems, prioritize and report clearly
• Strong ability to create reports on progress & track issues
• Proficient with Bash, Python, or similar scripting language is required
• Understanding of networking and operating system concepts is required
• Understanding of C/C++/Objective C code is a plus
• Passion for hardware debugging and identifying root cause
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering and other teams to achieve team goals
• Up to 25% international travel

The PSE Software Team is seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in Systems Test. In this position the Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for testing, monitoring and sustaining software solutions. Responsibilities will include:
Design test plans and define test strategies
Build, enhance and maintain test automation system
Enhance and maintain build and release system
Modify and execute tests for validation of hardware and software features
Work with Electrical and Mechanical engineers to root cause and resolve issues
Provide test reports to engineering, operations, and management

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
