Platform Validation Engineering PVE within Programmable solutions group (PSG) is looking for a System Validation Engineer to be a part of its team bringing a new technology and related product to market.
Compute Express Link (CXL) is a next generation Cache-Coherent Interconnect for CPU, Accelerators and Memory expansion. CXL is designed to be an industry open standard interface for high-speed communications, as accelerators are increasingly used to complement CPUs in support of emerging applications such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. In this role you will:
Validate system level CXL validation with silicon, software and FW ingredients. Ensure the systems/platforms are representative of our customer end solutions and in few cases the actual customer design or Intel branded product.
Plan, develop platform level use cases, test methodologies, diagnostic software, execution, documenting and reporting results.
Work with internal customer focused teams and/or directly with customers to replicate and debug issues.
Collaborate with hardware & software engineering teams within PSG to enable continuous improvement in platform engineering methodologies.
Work with cross geo teams and deliver quality end solutions through comprehensive validation.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Qualifications:
7 plus years of experience in roles of CPU, server, networking and/or chipset validation.
3 plus years of experience in validation for high complexity projects is required.
3 plus years of experience in C++/Python/Perl programming for content development and scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Platform Validation, tools and methodologies.
Hands-on experience in validation of PCIe and/or CXL based products.
Experience with Customer engagement/co-engineering.
