We are looking for an
enthusiastic Engineer interested in working with Intel's latest
cutting-edge technology.
The Principal System
Validation Engineer at
Intel:
Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites.
Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec.
Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.
Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving Post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future ondie debug features.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The
candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+
years of
experience.
OR
Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience.
OR
PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science in:
IO (USB, PCIe, MIPI) protocol and the validation of IO interfaces.
Hardware and or software development debugging skills.
Post Silicon validation experience.
SoC clocking and reset flows.
DFX, JTAG functionality and debug.
Lab equipment Logic Analyzer Oscilloscope, protocol analyzers.
C Perl and or Python.
Developing test plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience
in:
Any high speed IO understanding is an added advantage.
SoC Validation, Camera Subsystem, DFX.

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
