Systems Engineer Manager for Requirements, Interfaces, Verification, and Integration group within Fleet Balistic Missile Program. Provide technical leadership and manage group resources to plan, develop, and execute requirements, verification, and integration tasks. The Systems Engineer Manager will lead team members to evolve, manage, and maintain technical baseline, ensure interface, integration, and verification planning, and execute plans to completion. Manage and maintain allocations and traceability for flowdown of requirements to component level. Assist in developing impact assessments through Requests For Change (RFC) process. The Systems Engineer Manager will lead Design Review process for program; planning through presentation (entry/exit criteria, data package definition, criteria selloff, chart development, logistics, etc). Provide guidance to program on R&V and Integration processes; document updates, deviations and waivers, and manage the change control process (PCCB). Co-Chair Verification Review Board with customer. Provide guidance and support to Subsystem and Component specification authors across program. The Systems Engineer Manager will develop, maintain, and present metrics to status management and customer on requirements and verification management planning and execution progress. Control Account Manager (CAM) to plan, track, and status progress on IMS tasks. Support development and planning of tasks for IMS for additional phases of program lifecycle.

This is a coded leadership position; the Systems Engineer Manager will provide matrix and functional leader support to team members assigned to them. Manage and support employees, including assistance in development of personal, career and technical objectives. This Systems Engineer Manager will be expected to work within a multi-disciplinary environment; interfacing with project management, customers, and other technical organizations within the Navy customer

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or closely related field
• 5+ years’ experience in technical leadership role, but a formal management position/experience is not required to start
• 5+ years' experience in Missile or Space programs
• Relevant experience in requirements, interfaces, verification, and integration
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to build effective relationships across organizations, disciplines (electrical, mechanical, thermal, software) and with customers
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired skills
• Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program experience and knowledge
• Prior successful management experience
• Positive FBM customer relationship
• Through understanding of Systems Engineering process
• Experience leading major Systems Engineering reviews
• Cost Account Manager (CAM)
• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives
