This new air-launched weapon system will include phases progressing through design, flight test, initial production and deployment of the weapon system. The Systems Integration Engineer will work within the SEIT organization in Systems Integration setting up integration labs for the Hypersonic Conventional Strike Weapon (HCSW) verifying and validating missile flight software. Primary responsibilities are to plan, and develop the Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) and System Integration Lab (SIL) testbeds working closely with the Software System Test and all IPT leads.

The Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for:
(1) integration of hardware and software elements into the testbeds to replicate the environment and interfaces required to verify and validate system performance
(2) utilization of real-time hardware-in-the-loop test beds to develop testbed operations procedures
(3) preparation of input data required to create environment and interface dispersions required to test the performance limits of the system
(4) development and improvement of hardware and/or software solutions to replicate the performance characteristics and interfaces to missile system components to enable verification and validation of interfaces
(5) participating in the preparation of test procedures to ensure the testbeds configurations, data, and software are adequate to enable verification
(6) certifying the test beds (software and hardware) are certified and under configuration management prior to qualification test operation
(7) participating in test readiness review boards
(8) supporting preparation and presentation of materials as part of reviews.

The nature of the work requires the Systems Integration Engineer to be organized and detailed oriented. This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment and to interface with software developers, software test engineers, system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers and customer representatives.

Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field
- Systems Integration experience and extensive knowledge of Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) and System Integration Lab (SIL) testbeds
- Interface control
- Hardware and/or software test planning and/or execution
- Systems Integration
- Requirements verification and validation
- Microsoft Office suite (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-environment as a team lead or technical expert
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral, are essential along with the ability to professionally represent the company and program in multiple settings
- DoD Secret level clearance or above with ability to obtain TS/SCI

Desired skills
- Planning, developing and setting up a HWIL, SIL or similar test-bed
- Troubleshooting Hardware / Software interfaces in testbed environment
- Experience working complex missile system integration
- Demonstrated Customer interface experience as project lead or technical expert
