With the Solutions Engineering Team, you'll be surrounded by some of the brightest minds/engineers in the world as we are responsible for building out solutions comprising of Intel technologies.

As a Systems Software Engineer you will be responsible for driver development, primarily in Linux environment. Additionally, the scope of this role might include designing, developing, integrating, testing, validating, and/or debugging software across multiple layers of the software stack. This can span firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI for a specific technology.

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of total experience, experience should include:

• Object-oriented programming in C/C++ and Python

• Experience in software development working directly with hardware (e.g. HW device drivers, embedded software development)

• Experience developing in Linux environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following is considered a plus

• Experience developing user level software and drivers for FPGAs

• Experience with FPGA platforms and interaction with host software and drivers

• Experience with OpenCL and/or oneAPI a plus

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$113,500.00-$170,120.00
