Job Summary:

The Taiwan/Korea Program Manager (PM) is responsible for implementing an execution strategy which aligns to the Programs vision for delivering capabilities and services to our customers in Taiwan and Korea. This strategy is focused on both growth and execution, and will include but not be limited to, managing the profit and loss for the Taiwan PRAE offset, Korea spares, and other key bookings/programs for these countries (approximately $30M-$50M booking value). Additionally, the PM will lead proposals and unify multiple contracts/programs being offered to INDOPACOM customers.

The Taiwan/Korea PM is expected to drive execution while promoting company values and compliance to all policies, directives and procedures. This requires a leader who leverages experience with best practices in order to optimize the teams cross-functional capabilities. The PM will work internally with the Program Office team, IBT and key stakeholders to develop gate packages and cost proposals and will be required to support negotiations with the Taiwan and Korea customers. The Program Manager will ensure compliance with all external customer reporting requirements from a program management standpoint while also meeting the reporting needs of the Program Director. The PM is responsible and accountable for the business metrics and performance within the scope chartered.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Develop and implement execution strategy for programs managed
Develop Gate reviews (primarily Gates 3 11), ensuring alignment with the Korea/Taiwan execution and growth strategy
Accountable for driving predictability in AOP and quarterly EAC reporting
Responsible for driving sustained improvements across critical business metrics such as AOP, EACs and EVMS metrics as well as recovery plans
Work closely with Korea/Taiwan Program Teams to develop Program Management Plans and processes
Collaborate with the Land Warfare and Air Defense (LW&AD) Product Lines and functional teams on proposal development and program execution
Work closely with the Program Area Director (PAD)-level Chief Engineer on development of Technical Baselines in support of proposals
Management and tracking of direct/indirect offset projects with stakeholders and offset service providers
Management, prioritization and tracking of all customer requests with key internal stakeholders in support of timely responses
Support meetings with key customer stakeholders and LW&AD leadership team
International travel approximately 3 times per year

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors degree (Business management, science, mathematics, engineering, or related field )
8 years of experience in business, program management, production, and/or logistics support
Experience in developing and implementing program management plans
Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals, and/or synthesizing Gate Packages for Management Review
Experience working with external customers; including Asia Pacific, USG, or FMS partners.
Experience with EVMS and the Risk & Opportunity Management processes
Experience with EAC and AOP concepts
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

Advanced degree or MBA is desired
PM Certified Level 6 or 5 (or equivalent)
EVMS Certified (or equivalent)
Certified BOE Developer / Approver
Prior experience as a Program/Project Manager, PICC, Business Manager and/or CAM on a similarly sized program
Experience supporting early phases (Gate 3-5) on a major program
Strong communication skills and experience presenting to customers and senior leadership
Knowledge navigating the organization and working with stakeholders across the company to develop solutions to key program challenges
Experience on Patriot Programs
Familiarity with FMS and DCS Contracts
Experience in Negotiations
Familiarity with Direct and Indirect Offsets
Manufacturing knowledge and/or experience
Import/ Export knowledge and/or experience
