Job Description

The Aerospace, Transportation and Advanced Systems (ATAS) Laboratory is looking for a student assistant for the Food Processing Technology Division (FPTD) to assist with the VIP class “Humanitech” during the fall 2018 semester. Interested students should have interest in one or more of the following areas: engineering for healthcare, environmental and agricultural applications for low-resource communities, healthcare, drug development/delivery, waterborne pathogens, disease prevention systems, databases, web applications, graphics, networking, and wireless communication. Students will assist with the following activities:

  • running the class
  • grading
  • helping other students
  • lining up guest lecturers
  • general week-to-week teaching of the class

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at Georgia Institute of Technology 
  • Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university
  • Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university
  • Must have a 2.0 or higher GPA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work in group setting
  • Previously enrolled in HumaniTech VIP class

Hours per Week

10–20 hours per week
