ADP is hiring a Team Leader - Implementation Manager. In this position the Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of Implementation Project Managers using ADP's Leadership Expectations (Market, Business, and People leadership). In addition to leading a team, you will develop and maintain effective relationships with ADP clients and will be the direct client contact for retirement plan services. The Team Leader ensures the delivery of optimal service, client satisfaction and client retention.

  • Results accountability; focuses on ensuring that we attain objectives tied to goals set by upper management
  • Understands and can articulate the strategic direction of the business unit and specifically the direction for Implementation.
  • Effectively communicates as such to the associates to ensure proper understanding and alignment.
  • Uses logic and data to improve performance, efficiencies and effectiveness of the team.
  • Provide training for newer reps as necessary and monitor their progress.
  • Identify issues and training needs amongst associates
  • Provides mentoring & constructive feedback to new associate and existing associates on a consistent basis
  • Keeps management abreast of any trends visible through case notes, reports, and interaction with internal partners.
  • Assists management with future planning of team and department goals.
  • Provides feedback to management on results of proactive key initiatives and offers suggestions for further development.
  • Coordinates and provides management with progress reports on critical clients and initiatives.
  • At the direction of management, responds to critical clients by initiating conference calls &/or client visits in an effort to reduce potential no starts.
  • Coordinates project assignments and establishes proper ownership and follow-through.
  • Effectively handles supervisor calls and quantifies P&L.
  • Takes part in disaster recovery testing and provides feedback on system enhancements.
  • Observes associate capacity utilization and assists with plan/associate ratios.
  • Assists with internal or external outreach activity coordination and proper delivery methods.
  • Facilitates reoccurring team meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Exhibits working knowledge of 401k, relationship management or similar experience.
  • Acts as the primary contact for retirement plans who are on-boarding to ADP's service and recordkeeping platform (case load not to exceed 25% of maximum capacity)
  • Drives client experience through the transition process, which includes set up of payroll functions, participant accounts on the recordkeeping system, asset transfer and reconciliation, and scheduling of client training.
  • Proactively communicates regularly with client to evaluate and ensure delivery of optimal service, and client satisfaction.
  • Proactively discusses products and services, plan design and training with plan sponsors;
  • Assist clients with requests for plan changes and ensures the necessary project plans are followed through to completion.
  • Discusses impact of client changes and new regulations with the client and/or advisor in an effort to win additional business.
  • Keeps abreast of product enhancements in an effort to offer information to clients.
  • Organizes follow up as necessary on key proactive initiatives to ensure that client expectations are met and deliverables to the client are achieved.
  • Serves as the single point of contact for all client inquiries and support required
  • Applies strategies where appropriate to clients for plan enhancements, additional business and overall retention and can discuss these benefits with the client.
  • Ensure that the assets are invested based on the mapping strategy provided by the client
  • Acts and a liaison between other groups within ADP RS.
  • Meets with internal business partners to coordinate proactive contacts with new clients to initiate seamless transition into service organization.


  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent in education and/or experience
  • 5 to 8 Years of Directly Related Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Previous management experience and training a plus.
  • Solid understanding of ERISA regulations
  • 401(K) Conversion Project Management
  • Managing a b2b book of business
  • Experience with workflow and/or payroll systems
