The Optane Technical role offers first-hand experience on cutting edge storage and memory technology solutions. This is an opportunity to learn about the fast-growing solid-state drive and memory market and how it is changing the data center computing environments. Successful candidate will work primarily with the Customer Enablement Team (CET) team to support customer technical activities for example, product sampling, platform level testing of SSD and memory, assist with reproduction of customer reported failures, and support the CET activities. In addition, the candidate will contribute on customer presentations, track program indicators, and marketing collaterals.
Assignments will be technical in nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the projects. For example:
- Automating scripts to update firmware on an SSD.
- Benchmark Intel SSDs using benchmarking tools/software applications.
- Work with cTME (Customer Technical Marketing Engineer) and customers to resolve issues across a breadth of engineering disciplines.
- Optimize internal customer issue tracking tools.
- Print labels that meet customer specifications for SSDs.
- Perform specification gap analysis on Intel Optane devices vs customer requirements.
- Prepare Optane Devices for customer sampling.
- Testing and debugging persistent memory modules.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Requirements:
The
candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related
field.
1+ years of experience in the following
areas:
- Building a PC from assembly to installation of operating system (O/S).
- PC architecture and the relationship between CPU/DRAM/storage.
- Debugging with some examples such as setting up a test environment to determine if compatibility issue is software or hardware related.
- Programming language (C, C# or Python).
Preferred
Requirements:
Previous
internship experience.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$85,420.00-$136,400.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
