Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the American University of Beirut invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in computer science to begin August 15, 2021. Strong candidates from all areas of computer science are encouraged to apply and will be considered.

AUB is a teaching-centered research university, and the successful candidates are expected to build a vigorous research program and teach both graduate and undergraduate courses.

Appointments are normally for an initial period of four years. The teaching load is four courses a year. The language of instruction is English. Candidates must have a PhD in computer science or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
