Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) is designing the DoD Unified Platform (UP) solution known as a multi-domain Joint Integrated Cyberspace Mission System called Henosis (Ancient Greek word for “union” or “unity”)

Through the US Air Force Cyber Command, the DoD has issued a competitive bid for a “phased” three year contract to realize their Unified Platform solution. When we win the contract, development work will be performed primarily in San Antonio, TX with some work being performed in Colorado Springs, CO. LM is looking for “Cyber passionate” engineers with varied experiences such as software, systems, and integration/test engineering. All development work will be performed in an agile environment, to deliver quality products and technical solution with cost efficiency to our customer.

This Integration and Test Engineer leadership position is in direct support to the Unified Platform Program located in San Antonio, TX with the Air Force Cyber Command.

The candidate will be required to perform across the lifecycle from design, implementation, integration, test and deployment by applying diverse skills in systems engineering, system administration, integration, test and security engineering. There will be direct contact with the organization’s software development staff, so strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to integrate new capabilities are a must. The candidate may be using small scale development of script level routines and web applications: languages (Perl, shell script, JavaScript, Java, XML), web environments, software development environment (source control, build process).

Other job tasks could include, but not limited to – 1) Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new or modified products or product components. 2) Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. 3) Provide technical support and advice to other engineering groups and guide and direct personnel on the set-up and performance of tests. 4) Provide technical guidance with outside suppliers in establishing or modifying specifications for purchased items. 5) Analyze and apply testing procedures to parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors and participate in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs

Basic Qualifications
At least 3 years of Agile DevOps test experience

Must have experience in system integration, test, debug of COTS/GOTS systems. Knowledge of basic software test practices such as test scripting and results analyses.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to integrate and test new capabilities. An interest in working on a broad range of problems and technology and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment

Desired skills
More than 3 years of Agile test experience

Experience in installing and configuring standard and custom software in both UNIX and Windows Client/Server environments

Experience with Red Hat Linux, Web Services/XML, Java Web Start, Wildfly, and Oracle

Experience in the testing of systems at the component, integration, subsystem, and end-to-end levels.

Experience supporting agile software development by performing system integration, system checkout and testing, and anomaly resolution

Trouble shooting skills for network, server, and application outages

Experience with automated test tools

Software development experience
