Intel's Sort/Test Technology Development (STTD) Group seeks to drive world class innovations in the field of test technology. This is a position with the System Test technology development organization in STTD. This role will involve pathfinding, research and development of tester capabilities, platform development for upcoming products, methods to test Intel's microprocessors.
We are seeking a
talented candidate to join our System Test Architecture and Test
Methods team for research and development of IO test solutions and
drive the System test architecture forward for System test. Intel
Sort Test Technology Development is a central test technology
research and development group that develops leading edge test
solutions to enable the full spectrum of our product
portfolio.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with technical experts inside and outside the organization to develop test capabilities used in system test, drive validation/deployment of new capabilities
- Supporting existing capabilities in that are being deployed in upcoming products
- Research and development of System test methods and HW to test IO
- Development of System Test tester capabilities
- Develop platforms for System Test of upcoming processors
- Work across organization boundaries to support existing capabilities
- Drive validation, debug and qualification of new capabilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Have oral and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Be proactive and independent in owning and driving technical resolutions in the areas of Design, System Debug and Validation
- Be tolerant to ambiguity while progress is made through pathfinding into development
- Have verbal and written communication skills
- Display leadership and work with teams
- Plan and drive projects to completion and adhere to deadlines with minimum supervision
- Demonstrate experience/skills in structured problem-solving
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree with 3+ years of experience OR Masters degree with 2+ years of experience OR Ph.D. degree
- Degree must be in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering or related field
- 1+ years of experience in the following: Computer Architecture and high speed IO (PCIE, USB, memory, CSI or DP etc); Experience with BIOS, low level programming and run time control tools.
Preferred
Qualification:
- 1+ years of experience in Machine Learning and Data Mining

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
