Validation and High Value Inventory Technician

We are Intel's Desktop
Workstation and Channel Group. As a Validation Technician within
the Folsom Validation Labs, you will participate in many innovative
projects, and apply your expertise in a fast paced technically
driven environment. We work with and support product teams at other
Intel sites, so an understanding and willingness to work with a
remote workforce model is vital.
Your responsibilities
will include validation testing and stressing, and the maintenance
of test and lab equipment. You will maintain and manage the team's
High Value Inventory storage area, including providing check
in/out, material audits, and shipping/receiving
services.
You'll be responsible for highly technical
functional tasks in support of a variety of validation engineering
activities. Collaborating with Engineering Teams on cutting edge
product development, troubleshooting and data collection. Building,
configuring, and testing client validation platforms. Installation
of various PC operating system and software applications.
Configuration and operation of industry standard test and
measurement equipment for debug and data collection. Assembly of
non-technical fixtures such as test benches and liquid cooled
thermal
tools.
Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School/equivalent with 2 or
more years' work experience in installation,
troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues in a Windows
environment.
3+ years' work experience
with PCs
2+ years' experience with
tracking materials within an inventory management database
Preferred Qualifications:
2+
years' experience with general validation and
automation
