This
position is for a software development engineer in the Client
Advanced Validation Engineering team. The successful applicant will
help to architect and design a framework for generating and
executing synthetic system stress content on the next generations
of Intel's flagship CPUs, XPUs, and SoCs.
They
will also have the opportunity to work in a broader tools and
infrastructure organization which is promoting new industry
methodologies and innovative software
solutions.
Responsibilities include,
but not limited
to:
Developing the infrastructure and methods to re-use pre-silicon bare-metal content in a Linux validation environment.
Developing the applications to execute, permute, and debug the content on silicon SoC prototypes.
Partnering with the Linux OS team to design OS and driver hooks necessary for validation operations.
Partnering with validators to provide the toolset and capabilities required to validate the next generation of flagship products.
Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
or a related field with 3+ years
experience.
-OR-
Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with 2+ years experience in the following:
C and C++ proficiency.
Solid software development experience.
Solid foundation of Computer Systems architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience
in:
Validation and content development for bare metal or OS-based environments.
Linux driver and/or kernel development.
Scrum/Agile environment.

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
