Position Overview

The VP Engineering will be tasked with leading the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding engineering portfolio. This individual will face an array of challenges from a variety of engineering disciplines. As such, this individual is expected to be an avid learner, well versed in the latest cloud technologies and have delivered successful Recruiting and Onboarding cloud products at scale. This individual will be responsible for a large team and revenue stream and must be capable of recruiting, leading, inspiring and mentoring high-performing engineers and leaders located in US, Germany and India.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote a culture of high-performance Agile software engineering, continuous improvement and obsession with customer satisfaction.
  • Drive accountability for delivering on commitments.
  • Recruit, mentor and motivate world-class engineers, architects and engineering leaders.
  • Lead both operational and strategic engineering topics.
  • Bring new Recruiting and Onboarding products to market at scale.
  • Partner with regional account teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to customer escalation management, investment priorities and engineering process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

This position is located in South San Francisco and represents an excellent opportunity for professional growth. The individual will lead a large Cloud engineering organization responsible for rapid delivery of innovative Cloud Recruiting and Onboarding products at scale.

  • A minimum of 10 years of engineering management experience, including 2 years at executive level and 7 years in the Recruiting and/or Onboarding domain.
  • Proven ability to lead large high-performing Agile engineering teams.
  • Expert in Cloud technologies and DevOps.
  • Successful track record in getting large enterprise customers live and referenceable.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure with the highest quality.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science required, Masters preferred.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • International work experience is a strong plus.
