The Super Compute
Group at Intel is driving an aggressive roadmap of CPU and GPU
products to address the computing demands of the world's most
demanding workloads. The VP of Super Compute Application
Engineering is responsible for:
* Delivering
workloads/applications across HPC, AI, and Visual Cloud domains
with deep optimization as part of the complete Super Compute
product offering
* Defining and implementing
state-of-the-art workflow and tooling to yield faster workload
results, faster
* Defining workload priorities to drive
business results and showcase product capabilities
*
Driving engagements with all relevant owners of key open-source
projects, ISVs, and End-User proprietary codes to ensure
workload/application readiness aligned with product milestones
(pre-silicon and post-silicon)
* Delivering workload
collateral (benchmarks, competitive response guides, etc.) to
assist in product marketing, sales, and adoption
*
Ensuring world-class expertise to drive results and build-out
worldwide capabilities
The leader will report to
the VP / GM of the Super Compute Group, within Intel's Accelerated
Computing Systems and Graphics
organization.
Directs and manages a team of
software engineers and architects responsible for the development
and/or validation of software for a specific Intel product segment
or technology over multiple areas of the software lifecycle,
including design, development, validation, debug, optimization,
customer engagement, and/or product support. Oversees the
development of software across multiple layers of the stack
including firmware, drivers, operating systems, software
applications and tools, infrastructure, and platforms. Provides
direction and goals to the group to ensure efficient operation and
sound engineering practices are followed and interacts with
stakeholders internal and/or external to Intel. Sets priorities for
the team, achieves results across boundaries, ensures an inclusive
work environment, develops employees, and manages
performance.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications
* Masters degree in computer science,
electrical engineering, or related field
* 10+
years deep domain expertise across HPC, AI, or relevant
fields
* Proven ability to lead large software
organization of upper-level software stack developers and
application engineers
* Experience in all modern
software development practices
* Excellent communication
skills (upwards and downwards) and ability to influence both
internal and external stakeholders
Preferred
Qualifications:
* PhD in computer science, electrical
engineering, or related field
* 15+ years deep
domain expertise across HPC, AI, or relevant fields
*
First-hand knowledge of Intel's Super Compute product
roadmap and differentiating capabilities to achieve full product
leadership
