Staff work a hybrid schedule with 2 days/week in the office

IFAW is looking for Website Manager to manage our organizational suite of web properties - from strategy, performance analysis, optimization, and best practice or test recommendations, to actual tactical execution within the sites Content Management System (CMS).

This person will have strong digital marketing, technical and analytical skills. They will have a solid understanding of on-page search engine optimization (SEO), website analytics and paths to conversion. They will regularly monitor and continually update and optimize the site for key users experience and performance.

The Website Manager will work closely with content creators to solicit content and ensure it is optimized for SEO and corresponding campaign performance as well as cross-promoted within the website and externally.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the organizational suite of websites and microsites, handle website content updates, customization and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with content creators to plan, solicit, coordinate and optimize content posting
  • Collaborate with worldwide digital marketers to ensure content is reflected across all our world-wide properties
  • Coordinate with other marketing team members and departments to ensure active promotions and campaigns have appropriate website marketing plans, and execute and report against those plans
  • Serve as center of excellence for web-related matters and provide support as needed
  • Monitor organic website conversions and implement techniques and features to reach or exceed organic lead generation and fundraising goals
  • Manage web-development agency and channel new features, customization and improvements requests
  • Manage new website / microsite requests, and support website-related questions and needs
  • Develop and implement SEO strategy and roadmap, track and analyze results and present recommendations to continually improve performance
  • Build and audit the performance of landing pages using data and A/B testing
  • Support website integrations and ensure data flows correctly between platforms
  • Using data and analytics provide strategy recommendations to optimize the user experience and drive conversions
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on website user behavior and performance, and answer questions from stakeholders as they arise
  • Maintains current knowledge of trends, best practices and developments in digital and web marketing
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for all website work

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of web marketing experience
  • Hands-on experience in a variety of Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS and web design
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly master the use of new platforms and tools
  • Proven ability to plan, implement, and report on web and digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Experience using tools like SEMRush, Moz, OptinMonster, Optmizely
  • Understanding of database integrations and data flow
  • Preferred experience using Salesforce, or other CRMs, and automation tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to successfully work in a fast-paced environment
  • Great team player and collaborator
