Candidates are sought for Postdoctoral Research Associate positions in the lab of Prof. Wenjuan Zhu at UIUC. Our lab investigates gate dielectrics and nanoscale electronic and photonic devices . Additional details are available on our website: http://www.wenjuanzhu.com/.

We seek highly motivated postdoc candidates with solid background in wide bandgap materials and high-temperature electronic devices. Potential candidates are expected to be able to independently tackle challenges that will involve two or more items below:

  • Fabrication and characterization of electronic devices based on wide bandgap materials, such as GaN and SiC;
  • Synthesis and characterization of gate dielectrics;
  • Design, fabricate and test electronic circuits.

These are full-time, benefits-eligible positions appointed on a 12-month service basis. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
