As a fast-growing business organization in the Network Platforms Group (NPG), Wireless Access Network Division (WAND) is steadily growing Market Segment Share (MSS) in the network access through our Radio Access Network (RAN) transformation strategies.
This role offers an exciting and unique opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the prospects and challenges behind how we secure supply, make allocation decisions, and ultimately bring RAN platforms, including 5G across both traditional and virtual RAN platforms, to market with our customers. The Business Supply Strategist plays a critical role in bringing the voice of the customer into internal supply conversations while balancing Intel's strategic and financial objectives. This position partners closely across WAND and other partner organizations including Supply Chain, Finance, and external suppliers to optimize supply across Intel, considering customer demand, yield, margin, supply commitments, supply availability, and other critical factors.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leveraging data analytics and visualization tools to consolidate supply data and drive tactical and strategic decision processes to help support our customers success
- Partnering with cross-organization teams including other business units, supply chain, product marketing, factory, and customers to optimize supply allocations with a customer-centric approach
- Stay apprised of the business environment and industry trends to help understand critical customer supply requirements across WAND products and platform components to integrate their deployment requirements into the supply allocation processes
- Developing cost models and driving cost savings initiatives in support of the business strategy through analytics and engagement with customers across the supply chain and factory, leveraging levers such as pricing, sku splits, dual sourcing, and supply allocations
- Identifying and implementing improvements to supply processes, systems, and tools based on a thorough understanding of the business processes and dependencies
- Drive benchmarking or market analysis to develop recommendations based on industry best practices while ensuring compliance with financial, legal, and corporate policies

- Willing to influence and manage stakeholders, within WAND and across divisional boundaries in a highly matrixed environment
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with high degrees of task and deadline pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications::
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field of study with 5+ years of experience in the technology industry
- Experience leveraging Microsoft Power BI or similar data analytics/visualization tools
- Experience in supply chain management, data analytics, operations finance, or product engineering (procurement, supplier selection/management, logistics, planning, materials management, supply/demand)
- Experience with presenting to senior management
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA preferred
- Combination of business acumen, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise to drive results across multiple groups and disciplines
- Working knowledge of networking products and where they fit in the system

Colorado:
$113,210.00-$187,350.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
