The RFO team strives to provide cutting-edge innovation and operational quality for an optimal customer experience. We turn Retail Fulfillment into a key value proposition for Apple's direct customers, through Planning, Execution and Strategic Programs. In this role, you will be responsible for ongoing process improvement that cuts across Operations and Retail to gain efficiencies in Apple's retail inventory operation management roadmap to drive inventory execution for America's Retail stores.

The work you will perform in this space has a direct impact on the efficiency and accuracy from online to store teams worldwide. You will represent inventory operations management processes, and behaviors in cross-functional fulfillment projects and programs, as the authority in your role. New system functionality and process will be supported from conception to design, implementation, and support.

Key Qualifications

  • Your experience in a Program/Project Management role in a Operations, Supply Chain and/or Retail environment.
  • Experience in process design and implementation, fulfillment, logistics, and new product introductions, Big data management/Tableau experience.
  • SAP Knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a matrix organization.
  • Strong ability to learn complex system, process the information and simplify and execute automation.
  • Proficiency in Keynote and Excel.
  • Your ability to communicate with a positive attitude in highly dynamic environment.
  • Strong work ethic, perseverance and flexibility.
  • Your razor-sharp analytical skills, should have the ability to evaluate, analyze and transform ideas to executive level presentations.
  • Practical and dedicated approach to problem solving, solution oriented.

Description
- Responsible for the coordination of the Worldwide RFO engagement in Retail operation projects and initiatives to drive benefits associated with convenience, speed, clarity, cost and coverage for both Online and Stores.
- Lead and support the team in strategic market benchmarking and developing business cases/ proposals for the future functionalities and enhancements for Inventory management. Requirement to work cross functionally with teams both inside and outside of Operations to drive this activity (e.g. RIS, IS&T and Stores).
- Initiate and define success criteria for new capabilities and partner with Retail and Operations to ensure reporting and metrics are established prior to go live. Ensure actual results are measured and tracked against these criteria.
- Be the lead communication link into the RFO Fulfillment organization. Ensure that there is strong communications to support an excellent partnership and knowledge of the engagements. The flawless and effective communication between the Global and Regional teams is key to support successful execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to figure out requirements, identify dependencies and interdependencies across the various delivery roadmap and capital project tracks. Lead active engagement with BPR to ensure a seamless activity across capital and non capital initiatives.
- Provide authoritative support execution to deliver process and system improvements to support scalable and efficient execution. Incorporates supporting the execution teams on the assessment and documentation of current processes with a view to standardization, automation & elimination of inefficiencies.
- Partner with other RFO teams on the automation of existing reports/processes including automation of metrics reporting.
- Co-coordinating with other regional RFO organizations to ensure that benefits can be shared on a global basis.
- Liaison with the RFO and Operations business execution teams to ensure org readiness and excellent customer service associated with delivery of initiatives and functionalities.
- Continually learning the specific RFO Execution processes to develop SME knowledge and be in position to provide the highest level of support to the RFO, BPR and Operations teams.
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships with worldwide and local Operations as well as the Retail teams.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required.

Additional Requirements

  • Travel Requirements: This position will be based on site in Cupertino and requires business travel to Elk Grove twice a month.
