WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Create, define, and develop system validation methods, environments, and test content
- Use standard lab equipment for measurement and characterization of our products
- Use and apply emulation and platform-level tools and techniques to ensure performance to specifications
- Perform Si and platform debug to root-cause issues and enable robust design fixes
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Or Computer Engineer with 1+ years of relevant post-si validation experience
- Knowledge of Computer System Architecture
- Understanding of a subsystem HW/SW stack, including the silicon, all onboard HW components and connectors and devices, drivers, and applications
- Ability to independently read specifications, identify interesting test cases, document them, and implement them
- Prior experience with IA-Core Assembly, C and/or C++ programming, Python is desirable
Preferred
Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with key platform bus protocols like PCIe will be an added advantage
- Experience with hardware validation software and driver development
- FPGA and/or SLE emulation usage for validation
- IP or Full Chip experience
- Experience with debug of Intel chipsets and/or CPUs
- Knowledge and experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, in-target probes ITP and Lauterbach LTB
- Experience with network adaptors, fabric architecture, Cache Coherency
